Conditions treated include the acute care and rehabilitation of back and neck injuries, sporting injuries, headaches, sciatica, post surgical and post fracture management, overuse and work injuries, arthritis, disorders of the neurological system, dance injuries and technique concerns. Newington Physiotherapy is also involved in health promotion (including women's health), ergonomic education / workstation setups, injury prevention and the management of people with chronic illness.
Our clinics stock a wide variety of injury prevention and rehabilitation equipment. This includes ankle braces, knee braces, back braces, sacroiliac stabilisation belts (for pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain) foam rollers, massage balls, resistance bands, gym balls and an extensive supply of tape including leukoplast and kinesio tapes.
